I Love Turkeys

This morning was a glorious one in the Texas Panhandle. A heavy dew and light fog had the turkeys energized and animated.

For the better part of two hours, I watched and photographed hens preen themselves and toms strut and gobble on one of the patches of Rolling Plains ranchland in which I have access.

Did I mention that I love turkeys?
