Bois d'Arc Goodbye

I usually don't blog on every article or photo I've ever taken but this one is different. This is a story that's pretty close to me and one which I've involved myself more than any other project I've ever done. This article and the coming film is more than 30-years in the making.

Mr. Graves,
I have just read your article in T P & Wildlife and like you I was raised up on a similar creek bottom in Trinity County in East Texas, Piney Creek. I could not imagine it being converted into basically a water fountain. I sympathize with your loss. I will share with you a quote from Henry David Thoreau "I went to the woods to strip life down to its bearest essentials to see what it had to offer up and whether or not it was good so that when it came time for me to die I did not want to realize that I had not lived." at least you can say that you have truly lived. snyderdavid74@yahoo.com
